Memory LaneI don't remember when but I divided.  Since that day arrived I've been misguided.   
I don't remember why.  It was so quick.  But afterwards the cries just made me sick.   
I lost all sense of who I'm supposed to be.  That's hard to know when you can't even see.   
Oh, the things I did were something else.  I sat and ripped apart my sense of self.   
Now that I've found some semblance of order  I can't tell when I've stooped to appear shorter.   
I swear to God my intentions are fine.  But I can't promise anything this time.
